Photoshop is also good to try and make someone look bad. Where'd you get that pic? That's not what it looks like on GW's web-site now anyway. "Whatever it takes" though, huh?

The troops are voting for Bush by over a 2 to 1 margin against Kerry.

And the story about the Bush Campaign admitting ther attempt to lie and deceive

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/bush_ad

INDIANOLA, Iowa - President Bush's campaign acknowledged Thursday that it had doctored a photograph used in a television commercial

They claim it was just to remove GW from the photo - but its still deceitful - helps make him look more popular -- and before you guys say anything - consider what you would say if it was Kerry instead of Bush.

Wow Joey, you really break the big stories. There are a couple thousand guys in the background and the big, bad Bush and Cheney people add a grand total of 15 guys to the pick and now you say they did it to make Bush look 'more popular'? You're one of a kind my man.

I dont know where you see a couple of thousand - I see less then 100 I would guess.

It must be something cause the Bush campaign is redoing the ad now - sounds like an admission to me.

If Kerry did that Bryan - you'd be flipping over it and there would be 1000 posts in this thread calling him a liar and cheat and what not.

The article says that they did that to remove the president from the picture. So there were other soldiers sitting behind him that the photo-shopped ones replaced. Big deal. There was no adding of soldiers to make it seem larger. I'm sure there would be some people harping on Kerry for doing something like that, and there would be other people trashing it. You knew that would happen when you posted it. But do the math and count the threads. Kerry's got a sizable lead here, so don't expect us to keep quiet when something like this is posted now right before the election.

Kbob, do you always have to point out the obvious? Those were obviously empty seats exactly where Bush was standing from the camera viewpoint. I can't believe that was the only picture they could use and had to go thru all that effort. That's the only thing that bothers me. Whether it was Kerry or Bush who did it, same thing. No big deal. It was pretty funny that they got owned on it though. That I'll agree with.

Yes it was. And the guy that made the ad apologized for it according to that article, stating that he didn't need to do it that way. Kinda blows a hole in the theory that Bush supporters never admit to mistakes.

Yeah - I only posted it to show - neither is perfect - and both make mistakes that are either meaningless or just chaulked up to someone's stupidity and not necessarily evil intentions. If it was Kerry I would have had the same response --- I just shook my head and snickered and thought - STUPID- ROFL
