So my check exterior lights warning pops up everytime i start the car. And i figured out its the rear left blinker, which is also the break light i think. I got the 3357, but how do i change it. It looks like the whole light compartment is sealed. Theres a plug where the wire goes in towards the back, and i pulled it out but it just continued the wire. I dont want to mess up the lamp by getting moisture in it, so does anyone know the right way to do this?

I think it pulls out from the outside of the car. I don't remember exactly how I did it but it took me a bit to figure it out. You undue a few screws behind the light then just pull it out of the car from the outside.

the entire housing has to be removed, I think there is like three nuts that have to be undone to remove it (stupid way to do it if you ask me, should be able to replace them without removing anything!)

ok, i see the two bolts, they have a threaded screw comming from the middle. There is a seal though around the whole fixture, like a foam, and i just dont see this being a good idea to attempt myself. If i do decide to do it, which i probably will, do i just rip this thing off, or cut it out? Do i have to re-seal it when im done?

These instructions are for changing out the trunk lock cover, but they should work for what you want since they include removing the back lens. He recommends caution. The whole piece will break easily and is very expensive to replace.
