I'd like to clear corner my conti, how would I go about doing that what are the steps necessary and what tools and steps would I need to use and follow ty. :)

thats a good qustion if you take the corner off maybe you could get the baffle out.It worked on my acura.let me know if it works.

hey, Ive been thinking of doin this and actually had it planned out. Maybe you could do it first and let us know how it turns out. Heres how (its not that hard to think up).

1. Put the corners in a oven and leave them long enough for the glue to get soft so you can pull apart the lense from the cover. For exactly how long in the oven and temp., search the LS forum on a clear corner how to and use their steps. Don't worry about the "black" glue because we don't have it. Your, a 97, uses the old, weak yellow glue so teh oven trick will work.

2. Tear out the orange reflector. Yes, you will have to break it out so this mod is one way........there is no going back. That is why i haven't done it yet and also because its too cold and im lazy. Anyways, i think it will look good.

3. Go ahead and clean up the inside since you have the cover off.

4. Put the unit back in the oven and reverse the steps. Let it get hot enough so the glue gets warm and then put the cover back onto the license. If you are worried about sealing, once everything has cooled you can go pick up some sealant and add a strip around where the lense and cover fit together.

5. thats it, so there is not really any steps ahah. I would also suggest picking up some clear turn signal bulbs and parking light. Whatever its called. You know both of the lights (not the headlight).

Im lazy as well and it is cold here too :p so I may save this project for the future but Clear bulbs are illegal here so i'd have to get mirrored bulbs that are painted silver but light up amber :) thx for the steps :)
