ive seen it doen before for some reason it doesnt look right, maybe its because i know the car is a gen 1 but it just doesnt look right. and really why the hell would anyone bother? i mean i could see if you had a real clean gen 1 that you crashed, and all you could find for a nose was a free gen 2 car, or close to free, then sure, but just to be different? i wouldnt waste my time i'd go buy a gen 2 if its the look your after i wouldnt swap everything over.
