How do you remove the plate around the radio

I've got 93 , its got a aftermarket deck in already
I just need to remove the woodgrain pice , I'M in for it Last time I instaled a deck was '84 and I mounted it in the glove box

Start on the bottom with a flat head screwdriver. Be gentile until it pops up.

If you are replacing the radio don't forget to pop off the message control panel above the radio. It will allow you easy access to the radio.

I've never needed that to come out. It is easy to install the stereo with it on.
