Im getting a LSE kit and want to know how to get these rocker mouldings off, including the moudings on the front and rear bumpers. Any help would be great.

Thanks QuiK, but I couldnt find anything about the rocker molding removal

I just did the LSE kit on my 2003. See here for pics:http://home.mindspring.com/~kelleyo/id4.html

I attempted to do it myself but found out real quick that I did not have the right tools. The rear valances were difficult since the screws are up and in. Even if I got a wernch on them I could not get any leverage.

I realised that putting the car on a lift and removing the wheels and having an air compressor and air wrench would have made this far easier. Since I did not have all of this I paid the body shop that painted the parts to do the install. Was abut $150. Was worth every penny.

I just got it all taken off after 1.5 hours, wasnt too bad, just drilled out some rivets and was able to get all the pieces off very forcibly. It was pretty tough to get at the little bolts but somehow I managed to do it on a lowered car w/o a lift. It seems like putting all this stuff back on will be a piece of cake compared to taking it off. I am taking my rear and side LSE skirts in for painting tomorrow. Will post the outcome. Thanks guys!

the rear skirt is going to be a realllll btch to put on....
you have to take off the wholerear bumper and unscrew the moulding from the inside of the bumper
