How does the LS's horn sound?

Is it authoritative, or the squeaky, annoying kind, like a small yapping dog?

It's as authoritative as any other modern car. It's not a pipsqueak Japanese horn, that's for sure.

has anyone thought about changing the horn. my grandpa (RIP) was the reason for me getting the ls. me had lincolns all his life so i got it to rember him (and cause i love it) but anyway he used to change out the horn and add a siren instead. all his lincolns had this and i was thinking of adding a switch to do this. any suggestions, its not like a cop siren jsut something different. or what about adding a train or truck (18 wheeler) horn.

You'd need an air tank to get a train/truck horn sound.

I like the sound of my horn, but I don't go around showing it off or anything.

It's just to remind people at green lights that they're supposed to go already .
