How long do strut tower bushings last?

As the title asks. I picked up my 96 LSC 2 years ago and if I remember correctly the guy I bought it form only had the car for about a year or two. I got Strutmasters on that he said he had done himself after he picked it up which was from just going by when I remember he said when he got it. But now I'm thinking maybe it was longer.


Also would I have to replace the whole strut or could I get by with just replacing the bushings? Of course if Strutmasters sells just the bushings. Thought I would ask here before I called to order.

Or would replacing the struts be the best and safer bet?

Also, how can I tell if I got the standard height springs or the lowering springs?

When I asked he just said he didn't know.

Or is there only one kit and both kits are the same?

??? bad bushings, or bad struts. If your going to keep the car, go with new struts, that way you know what you have.
