OK, all Mark owners please respond. I was just tallying up the amount of money I've spent on my Mark since I bought it almost three years ago.

$1500 Price of Car

$1000 Heater Core
$500 Misc sensors that needed to be changed
$500 Front Airbags, upper and lower control arms

$500 Interior parts changing from Gray to Black

I got the car in November.
Paid $0 for it.
Spent about $1000 so far.
More to come.

$35 for a K&N filter.

I see my mechanic every morning in the mirror, so at least I don't have to pay for labor. :D

I have one heavily modded car, and that's plenty for me.

$93 for walbro 255 fuel pump Stock one shot craps under warenty still from dealership so i bought the pump they didn't charge for labor lucky me

And i haven't even really gotten into puttin any mods on yet
 
I lost count on the third one....but WELL over $50K between all three.....and as soon as god is nice to me again (jobwise) the tally will start again....and it looks good that I will be getting another Mark within the next few months....needs some work, but free+shipping. That will make 4 Mark VIII's that I have owned.

And that is not counting the price I paid for my first Mark.....was only a lil over a year old when I purchased it.......so you can say I payed a premium for it....and it only had 21K on the clock......:shifty:

soooo, like $11,000 (oh and that 700 worth of crap i did myself could easily cover the rest of the stuff, besides trans's, that i got ripped off for when i didnt know my a$$hole from a plug wire)
 
I'm at 14 K on the 95.


This is not including my labor, which would be ringing up at 45-50 per hour if I was having it done.


2300 on paint materials alone.


I am buying at 5th VIII in the next couple of weeks. (good deal type of thing)


All in all, with repairs, and general matienince between the 3 running VIII's dad and I have. 67-70 K on all 3

All of the work I have done on my car has been just to keep it in good working condition, no custom work or anything.
Luckilly labor has cost me nothing so far.
