how to gain more horsepower out of 2000 lincoln continental

Hey guys I'm new to this website and am wondering what's the best route for more horsepower and better gas mileage for my 2000 lincoln continental. Intake, exhaust and performance chip? K &n obviously for intake, thinking magnaflow and Flowmaster but what's the best route delete cats? Res? Performance chip wise what's good and best bang for my buck? Thanks for any help
