Load it up about 350 lbs of stuff in the trunk and hit the road. Drive 1200 miles in 22 hours and fit 2 meetings in between. Average almost 80 mph @ 27 mpg in 32 degree temps. Open the moonroof and watch the night sky fly past, all the while cranking some great rock stations playing some kickass tunes. Make sure you blow away anybody that might challenge your dominance on the highway and arrive back at your home safe and relaxed.

I guess that's why I haven't found another car to replace this one, even though it is 7 years out of production. I'm still in love. What can I say?

:iconcur: Once you drive one you fall in love with the Mark VIII. Then you wonder why did they have to stop.

Then you smile as you know there are plenty still out there just waiting for those who truly know what a Mark VIII is to come and re-purchase one.

I have 1985 Mark VII that I found for $1000 in MN condtion. I hope that in 2014 I can still find a 1993-1998 Mark VIII in MN condition for almost nothing. Then I will still drive down the highway with the Nightsky passing by feeling the same way Bryan is feeling.

Oh and I hope by that time I also have my 1993 Mark VIII moded out when it grows up it wants to be able to run with the TerminVIIIor!!! Got to be able to dream!!

Oh and Bryan I hope you don't stare out the Moon Roof too much while driving!! I know it might feel like your VIII can drive it's self but do keep your eyes on the road. I still like to have you around a bit. Your an ok guy for a republican!!! :N

Hey! Town Cars are just like that, but with even more room to stretch out in and an even bigger trunk! and that's why......... :L

I have driven my Town Car to OKC and back with the trunk full of my brothers stuff and him and my nephew in the back seat and the drive was COOL. I love my Lincoln.
