Okay so I came across something on here that helped me get the solenoid off fairly easy but wanted to go more in depth. What you will need is a long T40 screw driver or a longg socket extensions with a T40 bit. Also I recommend 2 people for this job when holding the socket or screw driver. 1 person to guide the socket in and the other to tell directions etc.
1. Suction all of the hydraulic fluid out unless you don't care that it all leaks out on you. Follow the first couple steps in this thread to suction it out, the first couple of steps I believe he uses a Turkey baster: http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/fo...Replacing-the-cooling-fan-pump-actuator/page2

2.Take the passenger side tire off.

3. Remove the black panel that is to the right of the control arm going into the engine bay.

4. With a flash light, spot the solenoid and pump. You will be looking to the right of the control arm and up.
Solenoid looks like the following image:

5. Once you spot this get your T40 screwdriver or socket ready. Now have 1 person on your left (left side of the control arm) feeding the screwdriver or socket through and you (on the right of the control arm) guiding it into the solenoid. The person on the left should now unscrew the solenoid until it is all the way out.

6. Get off the ground and go into the engine bay and fish out the solenoid that is hanging by an electric wire/clip.

7. Use a coat hanger or something to fish it out. Once out disconnect old solenoid and install new one.

8. Put solenoid back in and tighten and now she is installed!

Wanted to thank everyone on here who has helped me figure out my problems on here. Figured I would give back somehow by putting this up and helping someone out who had the same problem as me.

If you are having fan problems to where your fan is not kicking on high speed/not spinning fast enough, the solenoid/actuator is it 99% of the time.

If you are leaking hydraulic fluid it is usually the hose that goes into the pump, or the pump is broke (happened to me). Or you could have a hose somewhere else but those are the 2 most common from what I have saw.

If your fan isn't turning fast enough, check your fan when the engine is off and try to spin the fan blade. If the fan blade does not spin easily or seems to be harder than it should, it could be your fan motor from what I have saw.

Dealer quoted me over $1000 to have my fan assembly(even though mine was fine) and solenoid put in. Did this with an hour or less of work and some patience. Removing the pump yourself is possible but is a pretty hard task and one of the harder DIY tasks on the LS. I ended up taking mine to someone for the pump.

Fan motor is simple to take out and in.
