Are there bolts that connect to the throttle bodies? How do you get the intake off the gen 1? Thanks...

hmmm , it might have been square , i broke it about 10 seconds after i bought the car ....lol

Thanks guys I figured it out that it was the big bolt near the throttle bodies. In the process of putting in some Autolite 103's... my old 764's were gapped wrong! I ran some Seafoam through the car earlier this morning as well...

hey I broke that bolt just last week and now my intake tube doesn't connect tightly to my throttle body. It sucks because the other half of the bolt is to deep inside the throttle body to even get to!!!!!!!!! Was yours like that?

yup , i just used a big hose clamp and snugged it up around the base of the air intake and gasket and pushed it back on the tb , i had to do it a couple times to get it tight enough to not fall off , than i just put a short bolt in the top of the air intake to seal the bolt hole
everytime i'm under the hood i check to make sure it hasn't popped off the tb , so far so good , its been like that for a few months , and even spraying nitrous through it hasn't popped it off
