How to tighten Windshield Wiper Arm

My windshield arm is very loose (see video). What would I have to do to tighten it. Looks like I have to remove the hood and cowl.

From your vid, these last couple vids you made correct? It does not look like the arm is loose, if arm was loose it would not wipe. Looks like the arm mount or pivot(part on car) is messed up. I have not checked my mk8 for how to remove arms but i have seen 2 ways. My other fords you bring arm to up postion, pulled away from windshield like standing up and on base of arm like right where it attached to car you will see a tiny lever just big enough to spread with flat blade screwdriver. Use flatblade to move lever out and pull wiper off car in same motion. Now other way is nut holding wiper on a tappered splined stud thats on car.Flip up pastic cover over nut remover nut then pull arm. These ones sometimes need a puller to remove from car (stuck).Ford lever type are on str8 spline and pull right off after releasing the lock.

I just checked my Gen2 and its the lever type. Its on the top side of pivot on arm.

Remove the wiper arms, remove the cowl, and take a look inside. Looks like where the wiper post is affixed has come loose.
