How would I use the factory Mark VIII cellular phone.

My 95 doesn't have the factory phone in the console.
I wonder what it would take to acquire a phone and the box that goes under the shelf. And maybe an antenna?
Then to get it to operate and receive calls intended for my generic Android cell phone. which uses Virgin Mobile.
The main character in the TV crime drama "City on a Hill", set in 1991 or so, Jackie Rohr,
uses a similar looking phone in his K Car Chrysler LeBaron Convertible.
It starting to look cool, now.

You cannot use the stock phone anymore. I heard the tech is not used anymore.

Those phones used the AMPS cellular system. That has been completely switched off and is gone.
