Hey there Lincoln and Caddy folks....
Joined up a few weeks ago but failed to say hello to everyone. So... Hi to ya!
I purchased a 06 Lincoln LS a couple of months ago and have been working on getting up to speed on maintenance and performance stuff. Having a blast with it!
First Lincoln I was around was 1970 when I was in high school and one of my buddy's mom drove a late 60's Town Car. Lots of boats were smaller than that car. She was driving several of us to a school event a couple of hundred miles away in west Oklahoma on a 2-lane US highway. I glanced over the front seat from the back and she was doing 110 mph.
Another Lincoln encounter I got a kick out of was about 15 years ago while at a party at a farm located on Hood Canal in Washinton state. One of the folks there was from France and he and I were walking around with the caretaker. The caretaker said he wanted to show us something and led us to a garage, opened the door and stored inside was a mint, late 60's Town Car sitting on blocks. Nostalga hit me like a ton of bricks but the funny thing was the bug eyes the French guy got! I don't think he had seen a car that large in his life and probably didn't even know they existed!
