Hi Yall. My name is Art. I've been running Lincoln/ Mercury/ Ford products since I could drive, and much to my father's dismay, even before I could drive!!!
Although I own a dozen or so cars, after retireing to Idaho,(from California), I was asked to return to California for a job position. My wife (Junkyardkat) and myself used our two ford pickups to haul all that we could and and boarded our home in Idaho up, (contents intact, cars in worshop) until we return. We left all our toys there.
After driving our two trucks for a year or so, for everything here, we started building up our stable again.
Here in California, we purchased a 1987 Marl VII (blue), followed by a 1991 Mark VII (white), followed by a 1989 Mark VII (burg), which is currently undergoing some aftermarket renovations to a SE appearance. (just because it was pretty sorry looking)
I purchased my first Mark VII new in 1986 and since then have never been without one. I still own the original 86, but even though it still runs, it's status is "retired".
Kat and I proudly belong to The Lincoln Mark VII Club and currently handle the events here in the Southern California Area.
We welcome anyone to join us.
Its great to be aboard the Linc. vs Cad. forum. (oh, I've owned a few Cad's in my time as well)
Feel free to contact me at artbaileyjr@thelincolnmarkviiclub.org
