Hello all, I'm new here but I've been reading this site for a while. I picked up a 2001 LS v8 which needed the timing chain tensioners replaced. The car has 100k on it so I took a gamble, the previous owner started the tear down on the project and for whatever reason gave up, that's when I bought it. Things have gone pretty smoothly after figuring out the trunk full of parts and bolts. But, I knew that was short lived and my first major setback has come up. Whoever took the motor apart cut the pulley's off of the fan pump and the power steering pump. I was able to source a power steering pump and pulley from a local JY, but I am not having any luck finding a pulley for the fan. Can a power steering pulley be used? I've tried to search and can not find an answer anywhere. I'd like to put this back together as it came from the factory, but I have been looking into putting an electric fan on instead. So, anyone know the diameter of both pulley's? Or could a power steering pulley from another vehicle work?
