I’ve searched but no luck.. cruise control

I’m really done. So I pulled two servos... same results. So that’s a new clockspring, 2 sets of brake switches (used) and 2 servo (used). Same results. I’m left with nothing now but a dealer visit :(

Did you check the fuse? Hail Mary but you never know until you check it

Did the dealer put the clock spring in?

That is a risky procedure it's always suggested when dealing with an air bag that you allow a professional mechanic to work on something that could go off like a bomb me personally wouldn't even think of touching a clock spring replacement job I would let the dealer tackle that one and I will have to because I need a new one also the dealer in my area quoted me $302 labor parts and tax not bad really for dealer prices

It’s not a hard procedure at all. Disconnect your battery for atleast a hour to fully discharge any current. The rest is a 30 min job with the right tools.

And being that I paid $174 for the part. He’s charging you an addtl $150 plus for 30 minutes of labor.

Agreed. It's nothing to be afraid of.

Well since it’s a Ford OEM part bought from dealer I have a 2 year warranty. The parts guy said bring the clockspring back in and they’ll exchange it. That’s some good news. In other news, last night the cruise control did something I never saw it do before. The light came on but it never engaged. Take your foot off the gas and you start slowly down. Did that for about 2 miles then the light finally went out on it’s on.
I’ve diagnosed this problem as a Magwai!

The cruise control will auto disengage if your speed drops more than x MPH below the set speed. Possibly your experience implies that it might have been engaged but unable to pull the throttle open (either enough, or not at all) to maintain speed.
It's not impossible that the junkyard modules you pulled are all defective/worn-out.
