I'm in debates to either wet or dry ( I don't need comparisons, just looking for ease of install and reliable.. for the most part ), leaning 80 shot wet, but are there any nitrous guys out there that have installation threads with pics or which kit they have installed? Tips ( Obviously going colder copper plugs, sct -2° timing), ect... or just point me in the right direction please... I am aware of the search button...Yes I have used it but reading thread after thread for 2 days now and I'm still curious to see whats being used/ reliably plus I'm trying to stay within a budget, still have my project SHO in works.

So far QuikLS has given some proper insight via some old threads... just looking for some more updated information before I jump in head first.

Have you looked under the high performance LS section? I believe there may be a couple threads there, I know there is one or two chaps here with nos. I think only 2 that have it hooked up anyways.

NOS LS seriously ?

Up to you of course <shrugs>.

I need one of these.

One of the big ones. Actually, let's make it two.

And, Harry, I need it by tonight.

Dead serious, can't joke around with NOS... I ran a dry system on my SHO up until 2007.... spun a bearing but different reason, the 3.2L Yamaha's bearings is a big weak point... anyways dropping a wet kit in the LS soon for added HIT when needed and going completely stock on my SHO, can't seem to get rid of that car... love that damn thing. But why not the LS... come on... sleeper like crazy.

I have a 100 shot on mine.

OP....wet system only!!! I am using a Zex system with a Zex Traction Window, and MOST IMPORTANTLY....a Fuel pressure safety switch(aka Hobbs switch) along with a proper tune. The fuel pressure safety switch will cut the nitrous if the car would happen to start running lean. Member Cammerfe went higher than a 100 shot(I have his old system) successfully but I played it a bit closer to what my comfort level was with my engine. The key is to make sure your tune adds fuel and pulls the four degrees of timing needed at a 100 shot. Anything less than 100 the OEM pcm will pull the timing but I still would strongly suggest a custom tune.

At the moment, as I am typing, I cannot recall if you said your mileage. If your car is very high mileage, I would play it safe and go to a 75 shot and enjoy the added punch.

Also, our standard spark plug will work but you can go colder if you like. I discussed with NGK before installing. Still running my OEM plugs.

a bottle is plenty safe as long as its set up right, and tuned right!

however, just like a gun, fukcing around and being stupid with it is going to get you sooner or later.
