I know it's insane. But whatever someone is willing to pay, especially when they are unavailable from other sources. I think that they will probably be hanging onto those for a while, and smoking some more crack.

Problem there is http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp does not have bulbs or conversions for the gen2 cars.

If by "shortage", you mean "eliminated", then yes, there is a shortage.

Those should fit the stock non-HID lenses, but the HID lenses? No way. 9005 is a completely different format.

9005 will fit the high beams only.



9500 bulbs are made by SYLVANIA only. and thinking long run here, they are the ONLY one's who will ever make them.
