This was the vac leak on my car. Is there a procedure on how to adjust this screw. I just screwed it all the way in.

Figured out it's the idle adjust. Where should the car idle at? The car is idling around 900rpm's right now...

900 seems a little high. Mine idles at 650, my 04 cobra with cams and a big blower idles at 900.

900 is definitely too high on a gen 1.
the DZA1 commands a neutral idle of around 675 or so, and 550 or so in gear.
i looked it up in the tables from the PCM with caledit and my tweecer.

edit:
576 in gear, 656 in neutral.

Ya 900 is too high " almost like you may have a vac leak " my 93 idles round 650.

That's fine. Leave it there, man! I went thru the same thing ad infinitum with mine when I cerma-chromed the throttle body. Your computer should make appropriate adjustments. My car always rests at around 900 RPM and so does our 100% original stock 98 black/tan LSC. You should be good to go. Just give your computer some time to make adjustments.

My last gen II idled a bit lower. I ask because it seems a bit rough but when I take my foot off the brake a bit and let the car move it dips to about 780 800 and it's smooth as silk.

I'm doing the plugs today which needs to be done before any "rough running" conversation is started. Ohh.. and also doing the fuel filter.

Should smooth out wit new plugs and filter just tighten brass plug in snug ,that's what I did and she idles fine and no more cel light
