I got my lights yesterday afternoon. Put them in last night. Looks pretty cool, looks different, I guess I have to warm up to it. I dunno if I like the tinted tails or the clean reg tails more. The lights had a few little scratches and one longer scratch but for the price I got them I'm not complaining. Something I notoiced from them being tinted that I didn't know about them is that the tails have like an indentation in the middle. Its not completly round. I thought they stuck them in the oven and the plastic was soft and they sat them down on the lense and the weight of the tail pushed down and make an indentation or something, but then I checked mine out and they also had that little dip in them. I'll snap some pic a little later.
 
Well I dont think I'll warm up to them. I think I like the two toned better without the tint. It looks too dark. I feel like I'm riding in a mafia car. Dark tint and dark tail lights. I think I'm going to sell them if anyone is interested. I'll post pics tom either way cause its too dark right now
 
Are they as dark as mine?

I like the exhaust btw. Its something different for a change.
 
Personally I would never want mine that dark. When they're so dark you that have limited visibility of the brake lights it's too dark. What year is your LS cannons? The rear head rests are totally different than mine. On a random note how do you quote multiple people in the same post?

Actually I tinted my vic tail lights, and you would really be suprised how bight the light is at night. Mine were that dark, and at night you couldnt even tell they were tinted the lights were so bright.

i seen head lights and tail lights tinted dark, and cant really tell to much of a difference in light output during the night
 
Tinted headlights in my opinion is stupid, ive never seen a pair of headlights that were putting out a safe ammount of light when tinted to drive....my friend got the black tint COVER things for his headlights, and has HIDs and you cannot drive at night with them....I like the tinted tails on black and red cars the best...
 
back in the days...when tinted headlight covers were cool, I used them all the time...my headlights were still useable...but if I hit a back road, I took them off.

driving in the city, they were fine

My LS is a 2000. I was worried about mine being too dark but you can see them perfectly fine during the day and night. I've been pulled over and the polic said nothing about them.
 
TDUB, multi quote is the button next the the quote button that has the quotation marks and the + sing on it. Its the middle button. Here are some before after pics

You can notice the two scatch marks the the right light.
 
I think I'm going to sell them so if anyone is interested let me know or just look in the for sale section.
 
Not bad. I've neer been a fan of the gen 2 tails, but making them closer to all 1 color looks better.
 
I kinda like it..

However the job on them looks kinda shotty... that scratch is an eye sore.

Perhaps if it was just the red blacked out it would look cleaner and less 'in your face' on the white car.
