How hard would it be to swap the front clip from a Gen I to a Gen II and Vice Versa? I would imagine that underneath the sheet metal, it's the same through the years, no?

I realize, the fenders would prolly have to be swapped as well.

Anyone with body work experience, please chime in.

I thought of this a while back because I like the front end of the Gen1 but the rear of the Gen2. Worst case scenario I think would be the front clip, fenders and doors. I'm not sure about the doors though. I'd assume they would have the same lines from year to year to match the fender but who knows. I think everything would bolt right up but would there be clearance issues because of the different intakes from Gen1 to Gen2. Probably not but just another thing to think about.
