I've bought a couple of power antennas either off ebay or some used parts site over the last few years, and they are all crap. I'm about sick of having the damn thing back there, and I'm getting some body work done so I might as well patch that hole up while its in.

Which leads me to my question: What can I do as far as aftermarket antenna kits to have a hidden antenna that works well, while being relatively simple to install?

Thanks for any imput.

They make antennas that can be places inside the windshield and is not really noticable. That's what I did with the black car.

I don't know how good the reception is becaues I never listen to radio, but I just unplugged the harness so it wouldn't pop up when the radio's on. I think it looks a lot better down all the time.

i dont have that problem w/ my 98 since they dont have ext. antanna's. they are in the back windshield..... i had a 90 stang coupe i took the ant. out and cover up the hole but of course i had no use for a radio in a street race car....

dont break that rear window glass in a Gen II. When you could get the glass it was over $3K, yep $3,000:eek:
