I purchased a 2006 Lincoln LS at 65 000KM, and have put over 80 000KM now on it, and I must say, this is the best car I've ever owned. Not one single problem. I came from owning a 1999 E Class, and then a 2002 B Class...and the LS just blows them away.

The mods I have put on it have only made it better too. SCT tuner, magnaflows. Just love the power, my fuel economy is great. Brilliant car.

I change the oil every 5000KM. I wash and wax the car once a week, and I clean the interior once a month. It's a little obsessive, but I work as a professional fighter and trainer, and when I have some down time...I like the boring :q:q:q:q.

Amazing car, I really hope they bring it back. Any news on that btw?

we need more threads like this!

sweet ride....dont see that color often.

Ive only had my LS for going on 6 months now but love it as well! This is only my second vehicle but its the first one i financed (with no co-signer either) and i think i made a great purchase.

I wash and spray wax once a week and hand wax every month or so. Dont think the LS will ever come back. If you look at the direction ford is going they are moving away from rwd V8 and pushing fwd ecoboost.

Even the new explorer lost its V8!

Very nice looking ride. Love the grille and the color! I also love my LS its the second one I've owned, and if I ever find the right 06 I'll be buying that as well. How do you like the SCT tuner? Really improve overall performance? Maybe a good thing to pick up for the summer..

To bad they kicked the V8 in the Explorer I can imagine alot of people will be disappointed. However the ecoboost movement is a good direction for Ford to take.

I say atleast 50 times a day how much I love driving my LS. Its the best damn purchase I've ever made. I have 6 cars ranging from a Lumina, 2 Hyundai Tiburon with a mods list in 3 binders packed full ! , Cadillac STS , and Ol' Nessy (Darkshadows Gen I LS) and now my 06. Also purchased with 65K mi. I will only buy a car if it fits ME ! When I was between LSs I did a lot of searching , talking, and driving. Plethora of vehicles. Nothing compares to the LS for the price and the all around excellence!
My brother is suggesting that I stop bragging about how great the car is and how affordable it can be. Haha. If they buy an LS , that could be my next LS. And says that's what everyone needs to be in on a group buy !! He's stingy so I see where he's coming from. :D

^^^^ and also says my LS isn't so bad now that someone like a pro fighter drives one. He's a kick boxer. Or something like that.

The LS has great performance, and the price is just unbeatable. The 06 is evidentally an incredible deal, and the service I have gotten at my dealership has been second to none.

The tuner chip has made a big difference. The shifts are definately crisper and the lower end torque is noticeable too. Here is a pic of the back end with the magnaflows.

The interior is in showroom condition, leather and wood is mint. The leather is tan, and the wood is fantastic.

The magnaflows make driving this car even at 40KM exciting.

NICE ! that's on my list of mods to do. For the first month I wasn't going to do anything at all to it and now I can't resist ! If I don't just do the dang mods I keep thinking about ,they'll just keep weighing on my mind. My job consists of a lot a thinkin time ! So I tend to fill that time thinking about things I can do and what I can afford  then how much over time I'm going to have to try and sneak in to be able to afford those mods. Vicious circle! Here's the short list , hardwire Sat radio, Drilled slotted rotors, CAI ,Magnaflow exhaust, I'm going to start with the tail bulbs I hate the amber turn signals. I like what I've been reading about the tuner chip. Until about a month ago I thought tuner chips were all a bunch of hog crap. But I was wrong. Seems like people like the results that they have on shifting and performance.

Its all the EPA.

vehicles today are so efficient compared to 30 years ago....but its not enough. it wont stop until vehicles have no emissions whatsoever.

we have cats on our cars for a reason. makes me wanna drive around town in a blown 454 with headers and straight pipes!

Ha sounds like mine except for the tune.

Not all all..the SCT tune isnt really a chip its just a reprogram of the engines computer.

Basically the tricks you could do with old carbed engines...same thing but in modern day.

It does work very well on some vehicles better than others.

Tune has definately given me better gas mileage too...check it out if you have some spare cash under the couch cushions.

Very nice looking ride. Love the grille and the color!

That's the colour of my wife's LS; Dark Cherry (my wife calls it Pimped Out Purple!). Mine is Silver Birch and my daughter's is Silver Frost. My wife and daughter have black interiors while mine is dove.

LOL...you will never be done.

and you did tune before intake?? usually people do intake first. That exhuast will sound way better with an intake.

I'm going to do some more looking around about the tuners. Obviously I don't know much about them. Or anything at all ! I have limited time to work on anything durring the spring so I'm taking it one step at a time.

Nice ls. I won't say how many times my car is cleaned per week. Let's just say she has to be in tip-top shape. I have been known to wash/wax the car in a hotel parking lot after a 200 mile trip.

To quote BlackLS0f "you'll never be done.
Its like having a tiny addiction. But gives you the warm fuzziez in the end and people compliment you for it ! Unlike other addictions:shifty:

I'll post my thread on ownership this weekend. I only have good things to say as well :)

Love the t. presents around here...Going to love a LS t. meeting this summer.

lol damn! Well good thing you don't have a black ls. You would be cleaning her up every day. Nice lse TorontoLS7, I know the next car I buy will also be a 06 LSE. I will look everywhere for the exact one that I want & won't stop till I find her.

Great looking ride!! Ive always liked the dark cherry. We should try to petition to have Ford design something like the LS. Or bring the LS back
