I need a new tranny.......

Thanks for the info about the TV cable, thats all re-attached by she still shifts late.. very late , I don't know if that has anything to do with how long she sat before being driven or not, I put a bottle of LUCAS trans fluid stabilizer in but no results yet. I haven't driven on any highway or busy road marked for 40plus MPH because I don't think she's ready yet. I did get her into 3 gear though I stepped on it let go of the gas and then stepped again lolololol if this is something minor that could be fixed please let me know but as of right now I think I need a new tranny

Have you changed the internal filter and fluid yet ?

Did you check the linkage at the tranny too?

i checked the cable at the tranny also and it's all attached i think i'm going to at least see if any of that tranny filter changing is going to bring her back to life I hope it will a least through the winter, I'll drop a new trans when I get the new engine. I really don't want to do any major trans job out here it's cold out very cold. so I'm hoping that the new trans filter helps.
