I need bass

so i used to have 2 12s but i fried the whole system amp and subs (dont ask i have no clue), so now all i have is highs and im wondering what you recommend for some bass. i dont want to drop alot on another system, of course loud would be good but i just need something,. anyone got some suggestions. i need amp and sub model numbers. thanks

I have a slightly used kicker L5 12 inch sub for $100 plus shiping.

Kicker 12" Comp VR's with DVC's wired in parallel in a sealed box built to spec volume for these subs.
But then I'm old school and don't really like the Square Kicker Solo-Baric...

I would drive them with a Kicker KX 850.2 ideally, but they'll kick even with a 300.2.

This will hit really well, but also be pretty clean.

But, before I put any money into a new system I'd find out how the old one got "fried". The problem could still exist and take the new system out as well.

the old one.... one of the wires on the sub came off and touched the other, then i guess it blew the amp, then the HU blew. the hu was jsut a fuse but the other stuff is done. im nt sure if the otehr sub is still good. but i jsut want new ones i bought the whole setup used.

the one. the 2 little wires on the sub itself is off and its blown but the other may be fine.
