Sup yall I found a 1996 LSC Mark VIII with 60,000 miles and Excellent condition, I need to know if anytime soon or how far ahead IF they're going to be any problems to look forward to in the future. It was a Flordia car now in Texas and I need to know if I have anything to worry about because I think this is it. So if any yall know please reply. Thanks

Well the Air Suspension will go sometime no way to predict when but it will go sooner or later.

Belt tensioner, idler pulley
Air suspension components
HID lights, if equipped
Gadgets not functioning, if equipped (heated seats, amps, etc.)

rear shocks
rear upper shock mounts
tranny upgrades(1-2 accum/Mercon V)
air suspension(typical life span-10 yrs/100k)
warped front brake rotors(steering wobble under braking)
idler pulley/tensioner
probably needs a full tune-up(plugs/wires/fuel filter/pcv)
wiring loom/connector in trunk at L/S trunk hinge.
outside door handle(s)
trunk mounted CD changer(if equipped) might act up

guess what? every car out there has its quirks. No matter what, it is going to need *something*...I would take a good long test drive(get some heat into the tranny) and notice all the GOOD things. You know you already want it...now go drive the snot out of it. Also, check the paint's clear coat...especially on the "top" surfaces of the roof/hood/trunk/bumpers for fading/oxidizing. Also, find out as much about the car's maintenance history as you can, as well as try to get an over-all feel of how well the car was taken care of. Press the buttons on the message center to see AVG MPG, and put it through the SYSTEM CHECK.

Good luck.
