ok, first off, i am not a referee. if you have a problem with someone due to a transaction going sour with someone other than me, please DO NOT INCLUDE ME IN YOUR PROBLEMS . i was recently brought into a dispute between two members here, for absolutely no reason at all, i dont know either party personally, i did not sell the product in question, i know nothing about the whole deal, but i was asked to speak up because the seller has already been banned from here numerous times, but before i could even figure out what happened i saw my name splattered all over the thread like dogs**t on a sneaker. i am no mark VIII god, i am not the know it all to mark VIII's, i am not a problem solver with your bad purchases, please leave me out of them. i am here like all the rest of you, i know what i know from 10 years of hands on with the mark VIII, and i sell used parts, other than that i am human and i do other things in life like we all do. i'm getting sick of people calling me at 10 pm or later on weekdays asking for me to fix their cars over the phone, and i'm sick of people bringing me up in internet battles. i like being here, i like posting advice when i know the answer, i like to help people out if i have the part or if i can send you to someone who has the part, and i do send people other places, so for the few jerk offs who say i'm only here to sell parts and be the only one who CAN sell mark VIII parts, everyone on here will speak up and let you know my goal here is not to sell parts, its just to hang out like everyone else does. if it wasnt for my father in law who cant let go of a pipe dream, i would throw all the parts we have in a dumpster and be done with it, so i can i only be around here to be the " mark VIII god " ???
i am no different than anyone on here except for the people who moderate this site, other than that i am just another member so please respect that and stop involving me in your problems with other people who you buy parts from. sorry if i am coming off like a dick here but i'm tired of only being known by " that jamie guy who has all the parts and answers "

oh and just to prove i could care less about selling parts, i'm taking my signature off and my phone number, those who know me have my info already, i dont need to advertise.

If your referring to rustynails I think he was just trying to sling poo to anyone within his overly bold Ima kick your so and so typing skills.

i'm not just refering to him, he was 3 diff people on here in the last 6 months, i'm just saying in general. he's a p.o.s i'm not worried about him but i got dragged into that for no reason what so ever, like i'm supposed to rescue everyone who has a problem with deals going bad, who am i? i'm just another member here ya know what i am saying, i cant help anyone out when it comes to that.
 
you cant fix stupid. But i have had nothing but help from u so as i see it your word is good enough for me
 
jamie i hope this won't enter fear with you sharing your ideas. i for one have had fun sharing our past experiences and mistakes. i have been in this for close to 40 yrs and try to give advice as you do. there are always the bad apples out there but also there are people who love their cars but mechanics are not there strong point, so we try to help. i for one respect everything you said and totally understand, but don't hesitate to post a reply, i know you enjoy helping out as much as me. so peace my friend and happy new year:cool:

I know you have dealt with a ton of bs after doing the Mark parts thing... but;

Please do not leave us, I think you are a great member to have around and have helped a lot of members and hope you stay around and continue too.

Yea, dude :q:q:q:qem. If they're both going to be bitches and not even give you a heads up or anything, dont worry about it. And it's not like it's hurting you in anyway, it's just them lookin stupid right
 
Its going to take more than a couple idiots to get people to question your character jamie. I know I would stand up for you.
 
apparently i havent read this yet....f em jamie, just remember your car runs, you dont need help from them. now with that said can you fix my car over the phone? sounds impressive lol i just wanna see it work :D
 
i dont have intentions on leaving this site, i'm just getting pissed off lately at some of the things here like this other duche, and my phone ringing all hours of the night asking for mark VIII help. i mean common sense the number goes to my house, how many people on here want a call from a stranger asking for car help at 10 pm or later? give me a break some people have no common courtesy, time zones people, time zones, dont dial your phone at 9 pm if you are in california so my phone rings at midnight.

Jamie every time i have delt with you you have given me great advice and have even tried to help me with some parts. Im a noob in here and new to the mark VIII quarks and its nice to have guys like you to ask questions when a search doesnt find the info you need...as for the a$$holes that try to bring crap up on your name screw em you are def allowed to have a life outside of the mark viii world and i know you have kids so you guys that call use some common sense its not that hard to figure out it might be late or someone might be doing something more important to him than helping someone he doesnt really know..

i wasnt pointing fingers, i never once told anyone it was you who the whole other thread was about, but it isnt you alone, its been many people lately. the only thing i want is for this not to happen again, and for people to also know when to call and when not to call, and have a little respect. but you let everyone know that it was you, i didnt!

You obviously don't understand the point of this thread... if Jamie was here to point fingers he would have mentioned the names of every person involved... he did not do that though.

I see it as Jamie coming here to vent and let the people that read this understand that they need to respect the mans personal time that he would probably much rather spend with his family and relaxing than talking to idiots about their car problems.

I would also advise you 350TPI to shut the hell up and leave Jamie alone before this site loses a huge contributing member due to idiots running him away...
