This lady called into the Mike Savage show claiming that the Arizona law is wrong and that illegal immigrants pay for her welfare check.

I don't know if Savage is aware of it or not but that wasn't for real.

Actually, I did a paper on this once. From what I remember, Illegal immigrants, who get jobs requiring a social security number, end up paying taxes and not getting them back. Not that this makes a huge difference, but in a way it is true, even if it is a prank phone call. As all the rest of us who pay taxes pay her welfare check as well. Don't quote me on it though, it's been years since I read anything on the subject.
