I want to slightly lower my car

So, Ive been looking around and though that I might sensor lower my car, considering that it doesnt really involve buying anything. But can somebody who has done this tell me the pros and cons of the "sensor lowering" deal?
 
It looks alot better lowered. The only draw back is ride quality, but if you don't go to low, its not that noticable. Also, gotta be careful in and out of driveways and such. Some people may suggest its rough on the suspention, I don't think it makes alot of difference, unless you slam it. I had mine lower at one point and brought it up to where it is now to improve ride quality. Its about 1 1/2" to 2" drop now if I had to guess, I didn't measure before hand. Remember it goes lower on the freeway, thats when I get alot of looks, I think people think my tires rub or something.

Theres a much better method out there. Go to your kitchen, grab a carving knife, and systematicaly stab the air bags. That'll get you grounded.

haha... you should open up a shop Wilson. i'll even help.. we can stab bags to lower.. ''tint'' windows with black paint.. and other creative ideas ;) i lowered my mark jus by puttin it on a lift with the air ride on..all air is vented out... set the car down, and shut the air ride off once desired height is reached. It's not the recommended way.. but i havent had a problem yet. My bags dont leak.

How'd that work? The front lifts first, then the back. Killing the switch when the front hit the desired height would be fine, but then the back is still slammed

Or you could let some air out of the tires.....

i guess i lucked out then.. cuz my lifted back up even. 3 times that i did it too.
