What a craptastic performance. Pretty sad to see that crap in prime time. I let my 2 oldest stay up to see it. What a mistake. They think the guy is a fruit.

So sad that Hollywood and the media feel compelled to infect our children with this garbage. This country is out of control.

I actually liked a couple of his songs he did at American Idol. Now I won't listen to one tune of his so as to not support his 'alternative' lifestyle that he just threw in my kid's faces.

In one 4 minute performance, he threw away 75% of his potential audience. He lost millions to make a statement. Real genius.

Sort of reminded me of a Madonna performance when she was promoting her Sticky and Sweet tour... or when she kissed Brittany...

So, is this just a guy thing? It was in your face - but no different than what women have been doing on stage for quite a while.

Really, fox? They've been simulating sex acts and bestiality on prime time for some time now? Or are they just continually pushing the envelope?

Audience looked pretty mum to me and for good reason, the whole thing stunk. The singing, dancing, his falling on his keister, the gay routine, it all stunk.

Thank God the make-up queen's 15 minutes of fame are over.

Prime time - wasn't that almost 11:00 eastern? I didn't see the show - I saw a clip of his performance.

Well - in that time slot Madonna certainly has, as well as Lady GaGa, Brittany and other women - I don't quite remember the hew and cry there...

I personally don't like Adam Lambert - but he sang the heck out of the old Tears for Fears song - Mad World.

However-don't you think there is a double standard here?

Look what they did to Transformers 2. Completely slutty. Tell me that movie didn't have a large kid demographic before they released Transformers 2. They knew kids would be watching it. It is all about promoting their sick, twisted agenda. Sex Education for 5 year old. Let's show them how to put on a rubber.

Well, I don't know if you did or didn't - but was there a big 'negative' deal made about it here? Doubtful. It's girl on girl - come on - guys rarely protest girl on girl action... as 1bad4.6l so aptly points out...

However in the media there was a tiny bit of 'oh my' with Brittany/Madonna, but the issue with Lambert is a much bigger 'deal'. Does the media have a double standard (I know guys do with this particular issue ;) )

MM - I haven't seen Trans2 - Trans1 was sad enough - but I did get to drive Barricade... heck - it sold at auction for only about 35,000 a little while ago - someone got a deal...

especially for national television. Back when I was a kid they would even blur out thongs...such as a girl bending over, wardrobe malfunction, etc etc. So why is Lambert's dick sucking ok?

However, I would say the guys I know personally aren't offended by girl on girl as but they are by guy on guy...

I'm not necessarily disputing the popularity of lesbian porn sites, nor am I denying that many men may actually like what they see. What I am saying is that using 'all guys like it' or 'lesbo porn sites are popular' to apply post hoc ergo propter hoc to 'Fathers' whose children watch prime time is not a representative sample, and is thus flawed.

but, foss - was it really 'prime-time' - I really did think it was about 11:00 or so... hardly the time small children should be up on a Sunday (school) night.

I guess my guys rarely protest it... was more inclusive than it should have been - you are right - it should have been most guys rarely protest it...

I may have been offended - but I certainly don't think it needs to be made a big deal over - the time frame (late) and venue (a music awards show - I hardly expect to see an evening of politically correctness if I watch a music awards show) seem to be acceptable in MSM for this type of behavior when it is girl on girl. It should be for guy on guy too....

Quibbling a bit, aren't you, fox? Define 'small children.' At what age should viewing overt sex acts, complete with bestiality, be acceptable? What time do the Awards start? Besides, we're talking about overt sex acts on broadcast network TV - hardly Showtime or Cinemax, y'know?

Interesting direction you took there. So we've established that you don't hold very high moral standards, but like to poke at people who do, trying to find evidence of hypocrisy or double standards. Typical liberalist thinking.

I think both should be unacceptable.
