Nice! - My next car will be a Trans Am. What are the specs on that beast?

Just a roller that used to go low 8's in street trim. I am adding a sick big block Chevy with spray, it's certified for 7's so I am going to see if I can get it there.

Sweeet! I like your plan... Look forward to seeing the progress! :)

hey geno my buddy chad is selling the big block he just bought for the chevelle i am restoring for him, he's going with a smaller motor. its a 468 with tons of goodies its a bad motor its brand new. i think i can get all the specs for you if you want, shipping it wouldnt be a problem. i know he paid a good chunk of change for it.

Get me all the specs for sure.

I am now forced to sell the 86 Capri now so if anyone wants a badass Capri let me know, cheap too.

I was going to rebuild the 68 427 from the 58 VW Bug but what do you have?

Is it a #340220 1968-1976 block? What heads...etc.

1978 ?(not sure) 427 tall deck was rebuilt 5 years ago and was never installed.Has corvette cam (not sure what one) the engine was filled full of oil and shrink wrapped and keep in dry garage. $700.00 as is.

Yes I know who built it was a friend of mine. But he died thats why as is. He built several motors for me. Everything new except piston and rods .All machine work done by wayne's machine shop No. Little Rock Ar. Crank was polished new cam bearings ,freeze plugs, double roller timing chain.
This engine was in my tow truck when I bought it It was a replacement for 6.2 Diesel . I traded the truck's chassy for a rebuild on the the motor. Than never did use it.I'll have to get the serial number.

You need...

A. Cut off jean shirt
B. Mullet
C. Kid Rock cd

J/k man, looks like a hell of a ride. The rear end on that thing looks sweet as hell. Have fun.

Nice. Here's mine.

It's an 80 formula that I'm swapping over to a TPI/700R4 setup. I'm just looking to build a cool cruiser out of it though, something I can hop in and drive every day if I want to, nothing insane like that car. I've always loved the look of the 79-81 firebirds though. The lines on those cars are just perfect. Once you get it running, and take it to the track, I'd like to see how that thing will run with a built big block.

I love them too. I am thinking of a 77/78 nose though and going black & gold.
This car was always and will be driven on the street on a regular basis.
Power steering, full exhaust, power windows and locks, etc.

A lot of people prefer the 77/78 nose for some reason. I like the 79-81 nose better myself, but they both look pretty good.

I haven't decided what color to paint mine yet. I've been leaning towards a light blue, but not sure. The bandit colors always looks good on a T/A, I just don't know if it would look good on a formula though. Anyway, good luck with the project, and enjoy the car.
