Im Back and got some issues I need to fix asap

Well im back I posted my story in the welcom wagon, check it out



Ok so after all that I get the LS back on the road after I looked the keys in it with not battery in the trunk Easter sunday i drive it around the neighborhood
(Q #1) and go to roll the window down after I washed it to talk to the neighbor and the window snapped on the way up and feel into the door. So I took as much off as I could off the door and I see this white clip with a cable with it and the part of the window closest to the end of the door is moving free. so I roll the window up and wedge paper in the window seal and pull the plug so that I dont roll it down by mistake. What does it take to fix this cable system inside the door?

Also Im not sure whats going on with my doors either? the IDOIT light is on saying door open and if your stopped the Lights are on inside the car, then when you take off from the light or a dead stop the lights go off but the Dash light stays on. so whats going on with this. if I lock the doors with the remote the lights go off if the car is off. I did have to have pop of loc open the car up on sunday morning, and then I put the battery back in and drove around the block and the lights where on and never turned off.... So the Guy that popped the door put this little air bag thing in and stuck a bar in and moved the lock. so what could it be?

Please help me figure this out its driving me crazy!

the lights might be on because ur trunk door sensor may not be touching.. that happens to me.. open ur trunk.. on the lid.. towards the left u should see something that is touch sensitive.. at night close all ur doors.. then pop the trunk and press down on the "bump stop" lookin object.. if the lights turn off u know what the problem is.. i would try that before i get any more technical..

Ok SO I though this first. and nope all it does it set the alarm off if the doors are locked. and when I do it with the doors unlocked all it does is is turn off and on the trunk light, I tried it with each door. i closed the latches in the door and it did not seem to do anythng. I have another thing that might help I did disconnect the plugs in the pessanger door like the big grey one and I look out the light and did not hook it back up since I am waiting to see what to do about the window thing, but if that is what it is I will pull it apart today.

The problem with the window is the window regulator. Here is a great write up on how to replace it...with photos.

thanks I will look into doing this. It doesnt look to bad just gonna take some time, no biggie, But i still need to figure out whats going on with the dome lights its driving me nuts.

Im gonna post some pics of the new head unit. I sold all of my system all I have now is a nice pioneer headunit (first time owning a poineer) and the Infiniti Compents Up front, but I do plan on putting a system back in it slowly.
