So a month and half ago my LS Engine was completely rebuilt by J&S Auto because of a broken timing chain. after sitting for 8 months i was so happy that i had it back... it passed inspection was nothing wrong with it happy about that as well. Well about after a week ever i got it back my ignition coil started going bad cuz i told him to use the old ones first it was 2 so i replaced the 2 with cheap coil my car didnt like that.. not even a 100 miles later after they were put in they went bad.. so i took it back and got 6 new Motorcraft coil installed... got it back not even 3 days later i was drove all the home from school which is about a 30 min ride each way i parked my car. i left it sitting outside so i went to put it in the garage it wouldnt turn over... deid fuel pump. so i got the fuel pump replaced along with everything else that was on the fuel lines... i got it back everything was working perfectly like a dream.. so about a week ago my car said shifting weird and the transmission felt like it was holding back so i took it back to the shop it should be done by friday hopefully. this car cost me way more than i ever wanted it too but i cant see myself getting rid of it anytime soon.

i hate my LS but love it at the same time
 
Why did you get a new engine with old coils??

Thats like wearing shoes without socks.

i know i wasnt trying to spend anymore money than i had to but they were all with no labor charge and at shop price for the coils so it came out to be like $480 bucks
 
my engine just got completely rebuilt too after almost 3 months!
how are you breaking-in it?
my engine feels right and powerful but the belt is making a lot of noise, the temp sensor is bad now, i need to change 2 coils too and replace the thermostat because i have no heated air. and i might have to replace the fuel pump soon.
my mechanic said referring to the LS "why did they have to do everything like this? its so complicated and stupid"

my engine sounds amazing no belt noise or any problems beside the transmission im pretty sure b/c it was sitting so long and its breaking in fine im at about 1,200 miles so far i got my first oil change the other day and im also getting my values tightened this week. everything inside my engine besides the block is brand new. so much more power i love it
