My business is booming. I need to spend more time taking advantage of the opportunities I have.

I have found that coming on to the site daily and dealing with the constant negativity that is trumpeted and relished by a few here leaves me feeling negative also.

I have enjoyed most of the time spent here communicating with those on the right and a few of you on the left. However, it is not worth it for me to log off the site in a poorer mood than when I logged on.

I know many of you, especially on the right, have already come to that conclusion which is why you no longer participate.

This is not a surrender. This is a realization that I am a happy-go-lucky guy for the most part and try to have a positive outlook on life on a daily basis.
Somehow having to deal with the constant barrage of negative media attacks and the intentional mis-reporting of the news has lead me to realize that I am happier not listening to the crap. I just as soon go on living my life without the worry of what the media says I should think.

Bush is a great President. I understand the position he took on the port deal. I hope the UAE cancels their Boeing contract for $10 billion. Lots of people will probably lose their jobs. I hope America is finally told that Red China already OWNS ports on the west coast. I hope Americans are finally told that the Panana Canal is in the hands of the 'enemy' already.

To demonstrate what I mean...here's what Clinton said when he was trying to turn the Panama Canal over to the Chinese.

Asked by a reporter, "You’re not worried about the Chinese controlling the Canal?" Mr. Clinton replied: "I think the Chinese will, in fact, be bending over backwards to make sure that they run it in a competent and able and fair manner.... I would be very surprised if any adverse consequences flowed from the Chinese running the canal."

The following day, December 1, Los Angeles Times staff writer Norman Kempster wrote that "Clinton administration officials were aghast at the president’s use of the phrase ‘running the canal,’” which confirmed what Adm. Moorer and his allies were charging. " On December 9, Mr. Clinton stated that his reference the previous week to China "running the canal" was a "misstatement."

And the media let's Clinton's statement pass.

So I guess it is the media's lack of integrity in reporting the news and the unhappy people on this board that have taken the fun out of it for me. If someone wants to volunteer to be a 'moderator' on this forum, I'll pass a recommendation on to Joey.

In the meantime, have fun and take it easy on each other. Respect should come first. Politics second.

Me, I am going to chase my dream. The opportunity lies in front of me. It is time to grab it and run with it. I realize that for me to be at my best, I should not be sniping and arguing which only serves to negatize me.

Good luck guys. I'll be back when things slow down business-wise and I'll make sure to lurk now and then. Take care.

Good luck Bryan on your new endeavors. It's been *fun* debating with you, and you will be missed. While we have been at each other's throats at times, I have to admit that you have made me re-think my position on many issues. Sometimes that resulted in me changing my position, other times its strengthened my convictions. In any case, it gets the mental juices flowing, which is always a good thing.

So who's going to step up and "carry the torch" for the right now? It won't be very fun bouncing the tennis ball against a wall.

Bryan,
I am sorry to hear your leaving this family.

The media is full of lies and misconception I fear America will never see this. So many coverups!!!!

I wish you the best of luck with chasing the American dream and take care of the big family:D :D

Not trying to state the obvious here, but as in life, why not blow past those things that create stress and focus on more positive aspects. Personally speaking, I have strong opinions about politics but I learned a long time ago that it is highly unlikely that I can make any significant impact on what others think... nor do I actually care. Consequently, my time here is spent in exchanges regarding my LS and other more social issues. I have seldom read or posted in more controversial threads for precisely the reasons that you've cited as your reason for departing. Needless to say, there are a lot of informational and recreational benefits that can be derived from participating in these forums and there is absolutely no requirement to get caught up in the negative ones. To use television as an analogy, I'd suggest skipping past those channels, rather than throwing your set out the window.

:I Would'nt be the same around here without you Bryan, Do what I do and others here do, AVOID THE POLITICS FORUM:D I come to this place because there are so many good people on this site, I like to see what everyone is doing and whats new with the LVC family. We are all friends here. :V Politics should not change that.

Thank you for trying political discussions. Political discussions can work, but for some reason lefties use the opportunity to wipe their rear-ends in public. There is a basic terms of use, here, and on every other board, and apparently it is irrelevant to them.

Good luck in your endeavors; I know that you will be posting on other forums here, where, eureka, people have basic respect for each other.

Just can't leave a "neutral" thread alone, have to throw a low blow in there. Hypocrite.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion on things here and there but if you put something out there to be discussed you should always expect the unexpected. Why run from something that everyone has a difference of opinions. Goodluck to ya. (Not saying your running) just saying its close to having a quote on quote relationship.

Trust me. I am the one guy that doesn't have a problem with being challenged or expecting the unexpected.

This is an exciting time for me and when opportunity knocks, you have to answer the door.

I'll still be hanging but I won't be leading the charge. i've done that for over 4 years on 3 different boards. Time for the guys on the right to step it up.

My problem is there is sooo much negativity being produced in the media that I can't answer it all. It never stops. No matter how good the news is, they'll (MSM) will spin it to look bad. And the guys on the board here, instead of challenging when the MSM spews out, they trumpet it. I don't have the time to challenge it anymore if I want to get some work done, especially during the day.

I hope you guys continue to debate here and in a fashion that will reflect well on everyone. I'll chime in now and then but I thought I would post the "I'm done here" message so people would know what's up and why I am not as active. Time to make some serious coinage. Bush will rebound and America will continue to prosper with or without me and despite what the MSM and George Clooney have to say.

Byan your so Emo dude chill out the negativity only brings out creativity. I dunno about you but anything anyone says here i dont take straight to my heart but i take it to my head. The Cryo business has unlimited potential. We are rolling out a line of rotors and brake pads for Lincolns as well as other models. We have done successful trials for coach buses (school and motorcoach), sheriff departments (squads), park and rec departments (mowers), hwy maintenance (snowplows), Injection Molding tools, cutting blades of all types, Engines (blocks, cranks, valves, springs, etc.) drivetrain (diffs and bearings), etc. The list keeps growing so it is pretty exciting. The cryo'd rotors are pretty special. I have them on 2 of my cars and 2 tow vehicles. The police are in phase II of testing. They were only getting 9000 miles per set of pads and rotors. They are at 15,000 miles and climbing with no warpage or noticeable wear. We even had a motorcoach brake valve fail when our drums and pads were installed that locked up the tag wheels. The vehicle returned with smoke billowing from the wheelwells. Every other time that has occured, they had to replace the pads because they were glazed. Not this time. Fixed the leak and back in service. BTW, these drums run anywhere from 100 to 180 lbs EACH!

My Lawn&Garden biz is going full tilt and we are turning down orders until more raw materials can be purchased. Hardware is also percolating at the wrong time. Just no time to handle it all, hence my dilemma and desire to stay positive. Maybe at a meet this summer I can update you in more detail.

Take care. Keep the forum alive and kicking. Would hate to see my baby get neglected.

its all good and you are absolutely right in when an opportunity comes that will be very plentyful take it and run. GOODLUCK to ya...

Hey Bryan, I'm sorry to hear that you won't be the moderator here any more. You will be missed. But I completely understand. You've impressed me with your ability to fight for what you believe in, yet still keeping a sense of humor. It takes a lot of time and energy to do what you've been doing. If I ever make it up to Wisconsin I'll be sure to look you up. And if you're ever in the Tulsa area let me know and we'll get together. Take care and God bless.

Ken

Dont panic guys - Bryan is merely saying he wont ba as active for awhile. He isnt leaving, he is still an Admin here at LVC, and a valued member both of the Admin Team and a valued member of LVC. He's just taking a break and focusing on work a bit more because his business is very busy.
