I'm excited!

Well tomorrow (monday, may 16th) or today for that matter I should be getting my LS back from the shop after being w/out it for a couple of weeks because of that accident that resulted in almost $6500 in damage. I was, however, suppose to have it back on friday but a wiring harnass for one of the lights did not come in and they sent it off to get the front aligned along w/ the rear. But tomorrow it should be ready for my inspection and hopefully good to bring home and get me out of this crummy '05 cavalier 4 dr.

My dad said the painter did a great job on it. They redid one side and than clear coated the whole car. That was my biggest worry, well that and if everything would be lined up and gaps were how they are suppose to be and such.

Now I'm trying to look for a second vehicle, that way something like this happening again is lessened. Going cheap and economical. Would like to get another cavalier, but not 4 dr, because they blow. Looking at a '92 Ranger right now, just waiting for the guy to call w/ the price. My dad bought a older Jeep CJ and now he wants to get something good on gas for my mom so she does not have to drive her f-250 super duty all the time and they mentioned something about me buying the CJ. So I do not know yet, the CJ should be a fun getting to work and back vehicle, its lifted alittle and have big ole tires :Beer and is a 5 spd.

Anyway, just excited about having my LS back :L

Well they messed up yet again and did not have a few things to put the chrome on so that is suppose to be in tomorrow now. I swear, if its not ready tomorrow I'm going to get seriously pissed. I can understand a couple of things not coming in, but it just seems like excuses, excuses.

I would have got sport bumpers and left the chrome off. Sorry to hear that your car isn't back to you yet............but wouldn't you rather they do it right than to just give it to you half-assed?

Yea, I want it perfect or extremely close but I hate when they tell you its defiantely going to be done this day and than push it back a few. I'd be not so ticked if they just said they were not too sure but well keep me informed. Not to mention its my dad doing the work and its like pulling teeth to get any feedback from him.

I wanted to get the LSE kit and angel eyes but everytime I brought it up it was dismissed. Even when I told them it'd probably be pretty cheap instead of going through ford or whatever for parts.

I think what is really making me mad is the fact I've been off since thursday and do not go back to work till wednesday and you'd think I could of gotten it on a day off instead of having to go into work ALL day and than get it back or something. Makes too much sense for it to work out like that lol.

I'm not even excited anymore, guess we'll see tomorrow or not. I'll get pics of it once its back too .
