I'm new.

I bought my dream car, a second generation Lincoln LS. Only by luck did I find a Premium V8 Sport. In the "coffee grey" with black interior. [emoji7]

This is a second car for me, I also have a Kia Soul. Works out well as when I'm fixing something on one car I have another to drive.

It has most of the typical LS problems. The DCCV is shot and I've got permanent A/C. I have replaced both front window regulators. Some of the cooling system has been replaced. I still have to replace the tank. It has new gaskets, plugs, and coils thanks to the previous owner and the local Lincoln dealer.

I still need to get a second key programmed, get the door code, both of which the dealer will do for $45. I'm going to have the power steering fluid changed as well as the transmission fluid. And both rear "subs" are done.

I love my new toy.

Beautiful LS! What year is it? I'm still learning the generation time frames. Looks alot like my 04. How do you know if it is a Premium? I have all of the upgrades except the navigation, DVD or folding mirrors so I think it is as well. Not sure. I have the same problem with the climate control. Only cold air, but at least I can control where it comes out still! Anyone hard wire this into a manual system yet or is it just too many wires and best to replace OEM?
