Will it throw a CE code, I deleted on my 95 but don't remember if the CE light came on. All I did to delete was remove the butterflies tho. 98 base

Yes it'll throw a CEL, and also deletes low end torque .

Thank you.
I'm wondering if it will throw a CE if I just removed the butterflies? I know it will run Rich if I don't get it tuned. For the low end tq I'm doing a trac lock with 4.10's so I think I'll make it up.

How would the computer ever "know" you removed the plate? It will not. If you left all the connectors hooked up.

A higher stall would also help alot. Why do you want to ??

Well I ordered 4.10's and a trac lock, and a couple things for the cobra intake. I've removed the butterflies on my 95 and it made a world of difference. Basically when I install the cobra intake manifold i would like to remove the imrc's or jut the butterflies. I did talk to John over at mark8 muscle and he said they could wright a tune for no imrc's and no EGR. I don't have cats either. To me deleting them or just the butterflies makes a difference at mid to higher rpm
