Hello everyone this is my first post in these forums.

A few months ago I was lucky enough to score a stunning 1995 medium willow green mark VIII with medium willow green interior. There were minor things that needed to be fixed and I had been slowly restoring the car to its true glory. Unfortunately a month ago I was involved in an accident, the other driver and myself were ok, but my mark VIII was not. My insurance did not total the car thankfully but they are struggling to locate parts. The collision center that is working on my car presented me a replacement grille yesterday which they purchased from eBay. The listing stated that it was "refurbished" and to me it was clearly spray painted silver, I understand that parts for these cars are difficult to come by, but I really would like to locate a replacement grille in decent condition if possible. This is the last part needed for the vehicle.

This is a long shot, if you have a spare grille in decent condition your willing to sell I am in desperate need.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,

-CS

Welcome aboard! Great looking 1st Gen! There's another member here with a real nice Willow Green as well.

Since parts are scarce, the one from Ebay with the peeling chrome might have to suffice. Strip off the rest of chrome, light sand, prime and paint to body color from Automotive Touchup.

Alternatively, there are some 1st gen grills listed on car-part.com, you'd have to contact the seller to see if they'll ship the item.

You've probably already tried this but, if not, go to the 'Pick-n-Pull' websites in your area, see if there's a correct Mark VIII with a good grill. On the West Coast any grill is $36.00, take it off yourself. Also, you can have their website notify by email when one arrives. Pick-n-Pull is my favorite auto parts store.
