The car is fixed, "there was a second crack in the cct which caused the overheating in the firstplace"-Lincoln service rep. So, no worries about the headgasket anymore :)!

They are. And after searching the globe for 2 months, we (me and the lincoln dealership management) came to an agreement to put a used part on there. They got one and cleaned it all up and w/n.

So are you going to keep it now instead of getting rid of it? I think gears would do wonders for your car.

No. I wasnt going to get rid of it till it was fixed, lol. Did you guys seriously think i was going to sell it as a "good" car when it was broke? lol. Nope, im selling it still. As much as it tears my heart apart. A once in a lifetime opertunity has risen that completly trumps any feelings for the car.

We never thought that................

And believe it or not Mr. Wilson, I was not insinuating that. Just trying to warn you of the pitfalls of certain aspects of posting things to public forums. I work in computer security and forensics and have seen some people get really burned by things that they have posted. Glad that you got your car fixed. Also glad that things are working out for the car that you really want. Don't worry, be happy. Can't we all just get along. And all that other stuff.:D

Wish I had known I have one I bought off ebay for a 98 LSc but ended up being for a Gen 1- after I blasted and painted gloss black and put 4 new O rings in it.

The Gen 1 have 2 sensors (one in each Tube), Gen 2 only have one sensor.

Anyway I will put back on ebay when the paint is fully cured - prob later this week.
