Increased my gas mileage..

Well, my v6 began to give me poor gas mileage, so, I changed the oil, oil filter, FUEL filter, and added one of those Fuel system cleaner bottles to a full tank of gas, and im glad to say that my car now is giving me about 5 mpg more . I think the big difference was the fuel filter. I blew out from one end of the filter and brown dirty gas came out from the other end... So, for those of you out there who haven changed your fuel filter in a while I would advice to replace it, you might notice a change in your mpg.

WHere is the fuel filter, and how hard is it to change yourlself, or whats the price to get it done. im getting terrible gas mileage

The fuel filter on is inside the front drivers-side wheel well behind the plastick fender liner.

It should take you longer to jack the car up and get the wheel off than it will to replace the filter itself.

Filter dost about $16 for a WIX at yout local parts shop.

I just did my fuel filter recently. If you guys do a search there are clear instructions on getting to it. The haredst part is taking the tire off, the filter itself is a no brainer....
