Info MARK LT

Hey yall thought yall could help me out me and the lady were talking and she said it was OK to for me to buy a new toy so i have no knowledge about the mark Lt but I know I want one if any one owns one give me some insight on them . . .Thanks Cory

a Lincoln mark Lt is literally a down tuned, luxury ford f150. interior and badges are different and the engine is tuned differently for a more comfortable enjoyable ride. that's all it is. the interiors are drop dead gorgeous and i would love to have one. but they do not make the mark Lt anymore, only in Mexico so i personally would not buy one. go buy a 1993-1998 Lincoln mark viii and put a twin screw supercharger on it running 20 psi with a forged block if you have that kind of money.

I think drive-train, suspension, and braking are 100% the same. Some exterior and interioir changes. I had a Lincoln salesman tell me they have more insulation for road noise, but I doubt that. I bet they were built side by side (Mark LT and F150). Barely a difference but the Mark does have a certain ellegance about it that turns heads.

The Mark LT does have a better ride then the F150, however the engine is the same down to the factory calibration. Really, all you are getting is a F150 with nicer seats, badges and a much better looking Grill........I am still getting used to the split tail lights in the back. I love my Mark LT and would buy it all over again. I will say that the 2007 and 2008 models had some better features such as the wood grain steering wheel, the optional Navigation, the emblems in the seats are not embossed logos, they are actual emblems. The headlights on the 2007 and 2008 Mark LT are different than the F150 units, and they also have the chrome bezel around the tails. The Elite option was also only available in the 2007 and 2008 Mark as well.
