Injectors never went closed loop...

I'm getting this new code, injectors never went closed loop. What are some reasons they might not be going closed loop? For what it's worth, the car feels just as strong as before at part throttle and at WOT.

Are you sure it said "INJECTORS never went closed loop"? injectors dont go "open/closed" loop.. the engine management scheme goes open/closed, just meaning that it is either looking to the oxygen sensors for data on the A/F ratio or not.

Yes, it is OBD1 code 65, "injector never went closed loop." I'm also getting code 59, low speed fuel pump circuit failure.
