Inside lights

I have a 93 conti. sig series. anyway couple of weeks ago the inside lights being (light on each door, under dash light both sides, and light under both front seats, and the light for the keyhole on the outside.) started staying lit all the time for no appaerent reason and draining batter i tryed to figure out what was going on and found nothing i checked the door jamb switches to make sure nohting jammed and checked other items i could unhook battery and rehook it up and they would come back on so my question is why they doing this i did a temp. fix and removed the bulbs all except the keyhole light and it dont pull enough on battery i discovered their was no fuse because the fuse that controls that also operate radio and cig. lighter and other things so my question is why would these lights stay on somebody help please.

does the door ajar lite come on??

if so, definately clean/replace the switch mounted on the door latch (Inside door, not on door pillar). I would clean it with wd 40 even if its not a problem.

The lights are actually connected to the keyless module in the trunk. maybe you have one thats failing.
