what ever happened to the intech and why didnt lincoln use it in all of their vehicles, like cadillac does with the northstar?

Now that the Mark is dead, it seems (to me anyway), that Lincoln has all but given up trying to compare performace wise to Cadillac. I understand that the LSV8 owners will be up in arms about this comment, but I see no other logic, as the Caddy has it beat hands down performance wise.
