Am I the only one who is concerned about Continental interior noise?

I like the car but the only problem is with noise. At slow speeds I start hearing something screeching in dashboard, then jumps in glove compartment and starts ticking, after that joins front doors trim panel and so on. Now the speed is about 35 MPH and there is a loud roadnoise present, it is difficult to talk and concentrate. Ofcourse ther are not big problems when road surface is ideal but in our country 95% of the paved roads are not in good shape and I can always notice something disturbing..

I like quiet cars like Lexes and Benzes they create a feeling of luxury and comfort. When driving on gravel I can hear only low rumble but not a one plastic panel starts to screech. Tire noise is also minimal.

What do You think Guys, is it possible to solve these problems and make Continental quiet? My Conti has only 37 Kmiles..

my Conti does give a noise from the glove compartment. I think it might be loose. I agree that there are noises but think about it, its a 11 year old car with 136000k. Maybe I will post a video to let you compare it to your car.
If you want a really quite car, the lincoln Town car is it, no noises what so ever.(but I had it since it was new)

get some sound dampining material and put it all over, floor, roof, trunk, doors. And then your good to go

But sound dampening materials do not reduce noise produced by loose plastic or vibrating relay.

I think it is possible to reduce road noise by choosing right tires. I came to this cause my friend had same problems with his Chrysler 300M. He tried 3 different tires like Michelin Pilot Primacy, Pirelli P6000, Nokian NRZ-i- road noise was awful with all of them. Finaly he got by accident new rims with Kumho Ecsta KH11 tires and gues what, he claims the car is as quiet as E-class Benz. I must admit, that ride was much more quiet than mine, when driving over bumps I could feel only the lift with my ass but now banging noise that occurs with my Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus. I think my tires are as old as the car because the rubber has little cracks allover perimeter and I can feel with finger the rubber being very hard compared to my other cars, that are quiet. Maybe over the years these tires have lost their properties and became hard that causes interior vibration and awful road noise?

it could fix that stuff if used propperly, just find anything that vibrates and wrap it in some foam or anything that wont make noise.

and loose plastic, just use the expanding foam or if you cover it with sound deadener it will reduce the vibrations before they even get there

Look into some secondskinaudio.com I was told the luxury liner works wonders.
