I have one electrical gremlin (knock on wood) that all the other threads don't replicate.

Sometimes my driver's door won't unlock, but it's very occasionally. My key will open the lock but all power options will not. As far as I know, all the other buttons on the door still work too. I can't really hear the motor trying to actuate either.

For example, my car was just parked for several hours and I needed to grab something out twice. The first time, the other 3 doors would unlock without fail but the driver's needed the key. I came out about an hour later, and it seemed to be working just fine.

Bad connection? DDM? What do you folks think

Probably the latch assembly itself. You could try lubricating it.
Otherwise it could be the connector, but I don't think that's ever been reported as a problem. The same goes for the DDM.

What would be the best lubricant to use, and where to apply it?

Not sure about which is best, but the only practical place to apply it is the opening for the latch, short of doing some door dissassembly.

I have the same issue, keypad works but locks seem to be sticking.

Had this problem with our old 2000 a few years back. Sprayed some white lithium grease on the latch mechanism and it still works (as far as I know as the car was sold about a year ago and I know the new owner). Shooting some WL on the latch can't hurt and it's a cheap fix; if it works.

If you sprayed it on front passenger it is failing again. :( I will try this grease again

I have had a similar problem where at first my front passenger and rear driver door locks were not opening or closing all of the way (kind of anemic), and they ultimately just stopped. The two remaining doors continue to work just fine. I would like to try lubricating the latches - but as dumb as this sounds, where would I apply the lubricant?

There are 3 possible places to spray the lubricant. 1st... the actual door latch that holds the door closed. 2nd... roll down the window and spray it in the rear part of the window track. 3rd... pull out and hold out the door handle, and spray it in the slots where the door handle goes through the door. IME... "chain and cable lube" workes best. Same stuff used on bicycles,,, and doesn't melt/soften plastic like some other chemicals.
