IPhone vs Droid vs Nexus One

I've got the Blackberry and Iphone Battery cases now. Pretty cool. Especially for the IPhone. The battery is built into the case you normally use to protect the phone. Triples battery life.

We'll see what Jobs comes up with at the CES Thursday.

How... exactly, does the iphone kick butt, again?

Because last time I checked, it didn't have multi-tasking, fairly boring UI, crappy camera, crappy storage capacities, and a hardware spec list that was cutting edge in 2003.

Sorry, but the iPhone is for those people who fell for the iPhone hype. It is not a revolutionary internet device.

I'm sure that Steve will announce a new version of the iPhone, with slightly a faster processor, maybe amoled screen - terrible idea, and maybe... just maybe multitasking.

One of the reasons the iPone is "faster" at rendering web pages is because it has no true multi-tasking capabilities. Most of the processor cycles are dedicated to the currently running app. Well duh! Where other phones as slightly slower, they also support multi-tasking.

And who in hell browses the web on a tiny low resolution screen like the iPhone has on a regular basis... and more importantly... WHY? Isn't there an app for that? (Little fanboy humor)

What can your Jesus phone do that newer phones can't?

I've got the droid... Frogman is a huge fan of the droid... lol

I like the Android OS. Don't much care for the Droid phone, as Verizon sells it, with all that bloatware installed.

I may pick up a Motorola Millenium though. That's the GSM version of the Droid, with no Verizon bloatware crap on it.

But I still like my current phone... for now.

I wish I could afford a phone like that.... maybe I should stop modding teh Mark.

To be honest I buy my phone for its looks and if it was a QWERTY keyboard. I haven't even used half of the stuff on it and it's not even that advanced compared to some other ones out there.

I have had an Iphone since they came out and they have become better over time. I still like mine and have not had any problems out of it. I mainly like that i can just plug it into my ipod adapter in my car and watch movies and listen to music whenever i want. The internet is a little touch and go at times but hey its a phone if you want fast internet get on a computer. As far as the others I have not played with them so I can't really say anything about them.

Well.. DUH!. :D apple absolutely LOVES to market a product and then slowly increase hardware/software betterness (is that a word???) on it.

Yes, but can the iPhone stream video and audio via wifi? Can it browse a local network for content and play it on the phone without being tied to iTunes? I'm sure there is an app for that though, to stream to the phone from iTunes...

And you get props for being honest about your phone. A lot of phones can natively render web pages nowadays. Some, faster, some slower. And don't ever dream of going to a Flash site with the iPhone... wait, that's most websites nowadays. :D

I have.

If Steve doesn't:

Add at least one multi-task
Add a xenon flash
Up the megapixels to 5 with a better zoom
View Flash in Safari in real time
Get rid of unused application icons
Click-to-Accept Auto-Correction feature
Front camera for video chat

I could go on and on for sure....

I have the moto droid. The only draw back to me is the key board... its so flat I've had problems typing.I also downloaded the better keyboard app (on screen keyboard) and its not much better. Everything else I really like.I do recommend a good app killer program though. I you have this phone go to this site and look @ their cases. They fit their desk charger and their windshield mount. Wish I would've. Found them before I did.
